A Force-sensitive male, this being was trained in the ways of the Force by the Jedi Order, studying under the tutelage of a Jedi Master during the Clone Wars. Serving the Order during the war as a Jedi Commander in the Grand Army of the Republic and later achieving the rank of Jedi Knight, he avoided execution during the initial stages of the Galactic Empire's ascent to power and went into hiding with his former master on Vaklin alongside Jedi Master Cho'na Bene.
A key member of the Vaklin insurgency, he watched in horror as his former master was dumped out an airlock over Shrokaan by Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Vader after the Master had surrendered and been taken prisoner. The Knight was taken prisoner as well and repeatedly interrogated by Vader, who claimed that he should never have been made a Knight. During an interrogation session, Vader used the Force to constrict the Jedi's heart, forcing him to reveal that Bene had holed up in the Temple of Imperfect Repose. Moments later, a band of insurgents bent on freeing the Jedi broke into the detention facility, only to be struck down by Vader and a group of stormtroopers. The Jedi managed to free himself from his restraints, but without his lightsaber he was easily killed by the Sith Lord.
