A subtropical moon was a part of the Oseon Belt, in the Oseon system of the Outer Rim Territories' Centrality region. At one point by 10 BBY, the gambler Lando Calrissian won the ownership of the moon in a card game, although he would later claim that the acquisition eventually caused him financial trouble. That year, Calrissian also wore a cape made by a tailor on the moon.
A subtropical moon was located in the Oseon Belt, a part of the Oseon system within the Centrality region. It constituted a part of the regions known as the Outer Rim Territories and the Slice. Located in grid square T-8 of the Standard Galactic Grid, the moon and the rest of its star system lay on a hyperspace route that connected it to the celestial bodies Junkfort Station and Marleyvane. Another route, known as the Sanity Skip, also linked the Oseon system to the Kessel system.
At some point by 10 BBY, the gambler Lando Calrissian won ownership of the moon in a game of cards, a feat that he enjoyed. That year, Calrissian mentioned how he had acquired the moon during a game of sabacc with the thief Han Solo in the saloon known as the Lodge on the planet Vandor. The former also claimed that the ownership of the satellite eventually caused him considerable financial strain. During a sabacc game at a bar in a jungle outpost on the planet Numidian Prime later that same year, Calrissian wore a custom-made cape designed by a tailor on the Oseon Belt moon.
The subtropical moon was first mentioned in the Star Wars Anthology Series film Solo: A Star Wars Story, which released on May 25, 2018. The Expanded Edition and A Junior Novel novelizations of the film, published respectively on September 4 and September 6 of the same year, both included an additional line from Lando Calrissian and Han Solo's dialogue concerning the moon that was not included in the film.
