Following her capture by elements of the Outland Regions Security Force, the pirate Q'anah and her crew were executed by being placed aboard a cargo container which was programmed to fly slowly into the sun of the she was captured in. The execution was planned by Lieutenant Wilhuff Tarkin, who used it to send a message to other pirates. In their final moments, the Marauders wailed in agony as they were roasted by the sun's heat, the audio and visuals of which were broadcast to both the pirates and security forces.
