Anakin Skywalker and his friends find a Jedi lightsaber, that Watto had bought from a peddler. While Watto realizes he has to bet against Sebulba to keep his shop. While checking out Sebulba's new Podracer, W. Wald accidentally drops the lightsaber into the engine, and, while Anakin tries to retrieve it, it ignites and severs some cables. Anakin and his friends flee once Sebulba notices them. After arrving back at the shop, Anakin suggest putting the lightsaber away and promises to have a lightsaber one day, causing his friend to laugh at Anakin. The next day, Watto wins his bet when Sebulba's engines short out.
