Greetings, I am Commander Checkoff, and I now oversee this page. My enthusiasm for Star Wars spans the last 15 years. Currently, I am a devoted fan, especially of the Clone Wars era. Furthermore, I appreciate other science fiction universes such as Star Trek. I also consider myself an Indiana Jones aficionado. Occasionally, I create Star Wars narratives centered around Jedi, clones, and other elements of the Star Wars galaxy. You can interact with me here, or on my wikis, specifically the Confederacy of Independent Systems Wiki and the Grand Army of the Republic Wiki.
Designated CC-1990, with the moniker "Checkoff", he served as a Clone trooper commander throughout the duration of the Clone Wars. Checkoff's origins trace back to his creation as one of numerous clone officers destined for leadership roles within the Grand Army of the Republic. Early in his service, he demonstrated a propensity for original thinking, which frequently attracted the attention of the ever-watchful Kaminoans. The Kaminoans chose him for specialized instruction, during which he encountered officers such as Cody, Rex, among others. Checkoff distinguished himself in adhering to protocols, hence his given name. However, Checkoff was not opposed to employing unconventional strategies to achieve victory over adversaries. Checkoff also possessed the ability to effectively operate fighter tanks and starfighters.
Checkoff participated in the First Battle of Geonosis. Later, Checkoff saw action at the Battle of Thule, commanding a Fighter Tank Battalion known as the Nexu Battalion. Subsequently, Checkoff was temporarily removed from combat to undergo an experimental training program, supervised by ARC trooper Alpha-17, intended to foster independent thought among the participating commanders. Upon completing his training, Checkoff assumed command of the 357th battalion, which incorporated his Nexu fighter tank battalion. He was assigned to serve under the Gungan Jedi General Jar Sparoo. Together, they fought in conjunction with the Clone troopers of the 357th Battalion. Following the Skirmish on Naboo, Checkoff and Sparoo were stationed on the moon of Ohma-D'un to establish an outpost/early warning system to defend Naboo from further Separatist incursions.
