I encountered Star Wars when I was quite young, but I didn't truly understand or appreciate it at the time. I became a fan of the films when I reached the age of approximately 8. My initial experience seeing a SW film in theaters was Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith, an event that forever cemented my deep affection for the franchise.
In my first year as a fan, I spent considerable time exploring the now-unavailable Beyond the Movies and Community areas of StarWars.com. Later, I discovered that the story continued beyond the films themselves, learning about the Expanded Universe and the The New Jedi Order book series, which continue to captivate me even now.
Subsequently, I engaged with numerous video games, including Rogue Squadron II: Rogue Leader, Lego Star Wars: The Video Game, and Battlefront II, among others. These games exposed me to additional lore, events, and characters within the Star Wars universe.
Around late 2010, I acquired The Best of PC and found a SW era that I never thought was possible with Knights of the Old Republic, introducing me to a wealth of lore that propelled me further into the Expanded Universe. This marked my transition from a casual fan to a dedicated, hardcore enthusiast.
Since that time, I have actively amassed as much Canon and Legends content as possible, as I thoroughly enjoy immersing myself in this universe that originated 41 years ago, and I anticipate continuing to enjoy it for many years into the future.
