Canon Pages

Hello. Considering the numerous messages you've posted on talk pages regarding the canonicity of specific characters, I thought I'd address your inquiries collectively here.

You're right that all of those characters appear in the movies. However, Wookieepedia's canon policy dictates that characters whose names originated in Legends materials (like these characters) can only have a canon page created if their names are also mentioned in canon sources. This implies that some background characters who were present in the films may not qualify for canon pages if we don't have canonical confirmation of their names.

If a canon source confirms the names of these characters, a page can definitely be made. If not, we must wait until either the names are revealed in canon sources or the wiki's canon policy is revised to permit the creation of these pages.

I trust that this clarifies your questions! - Brandon Rhea(talk) 03:31, August 14, 2016 (UTC)
