If you are interested in restoring the Magna Guard article, then you should look here to see what the exact problems were that led to it being stripped of its status in the first place. Also, since you have not nominated before, familiarising yourself with the nomination rules, Manual of Style, Layout Guide and the various policies on the Wook is required. - I copy-edited part of MagnaGuard for you and one of the other problems that I noticed with it is the prose. The prose is really clunky, particularly in the later sections concerning the TCW appearances. This article, however, due to the amount of source material and appearances available, has the potential to be a Featured Article, and if you're up to the challenge, I suggest striving for that goal. It will take quite some time (I've been working on one for over a year!), but the end result will be worth it. As Cav said above, familiarizing yourself with the Manual of Style, Layout Guide, and polices will help move this along a bit smoother. The hardest part may be tracking down the appropriate sources, but you'll no doubt find someone who has the source you need. I suggest joining the IRC channel, you'll be able to get help in real time there. Good luck! Trak Nar 08:49, June 14, 2011 (UTC)
To repeat what Cavalier One has already said, please make sure that you are completely familiar with the Manual of Style, the Layout Guide, the nomination rules, and all other policies on Wookieepedia before you even consider nominating the article. I cannot stress enough the importance of paying attention to these guidelines and rules—too often nominations are rejected outright because they completely fail to meet the rules and requirements of a nomination. The reason why "On-board Utilities" was a text box was because there was a misplaced space before the text. To be honest, I do not know anyone who is acutely familiar with the subject; I myself am a self-proclaimed expert in TCW, but I don't know how much I can help you given the fact that the MagnaGuard was established long prior to the television series. The main problem with the article right now is that it is not completely updated with all Appearances and Sources—you're going to have to check everything it appears in and is mentioned in and add all relevant information to the article before the article can even be considered ready to be a nomination for the FAN or GAN. In all honesty, because of today's standards, the article is quite a ways away from being ready for promotion; I would recommend reading through some of the current Featured and Good Articles to see what is currently expected of promoted articles. I hope that helps. CC7567 01:35, June 16, 2011 (UTC)
You still lack the 50 mainspace edits required for any of your votes to count, per site policy. Do not unstrike your vote on the Blotus the Hutt nomination until this requirement is met. Furthermore, making minor edits just for the sake of getting your vote to count is not the best idea, especially when many of your edits are reverted for one reason or another. Please do not add CSD templates on articles without good reason. For the article parachute, it had a proper source. If you want it deleted, you should place it in the Trash compactor, as the whole community may not agree with your reasoning for deletion. Thank you for your cooperation.—Cal Jedi 04:14, February 20, 2012 (UTC)
