No problems. Usually, during the upload procedure, there is a warning that a file with the existing name is already present. Please watch for it in the future, as it can save little errors such as this. As for still being listed as your upload - there's nothing can be done. You uploaded the last version of the image, so you are listed as the uploader. If I reverted it back, then I would be listed as the last uploader. No one really cares much about who uploaded an image in any case, as the credit is to LFL and the source, not the individual. I wouldn't worry about it. Also, please sign all comments on talk pages with four ~~~~. Regards, Cavalier One 13:05, July 21, 2011 (UTC)

Yeah, sorry about that. I've reverted my reversion. Stake black 20:32, March 30, 2013 (UTC)

I just went through and played the audio, then compared to youtube audio of desann and galak. Galak's voice is too refined to be the speaker, and desann's voice has the right tone and growl to it... Manoof (talk) 06:12, February 5, 2015 (UTC)

Besides that, the voice SOUNDS like Desann's, not Fyyar's, I checked and double checked before making the change. Feel free to compare yourself, but I have described the differences. Manoof (talk) 12:23, February 6, 2015 (UTC)

I've changed the article to reflect that, strictly speaking, we DON'T know who it was, as we have both made reasonable arguments for both cases. Unless it can be shown 100% one way or the other, I would suggest that this is the best option. Manoof (talk) 05:38, February 7, 2015 (UTC)

Hey mate, me again! I just thought you'd want to know I'm going to nominate and try to get Stavan to status soon. Before I do though, I was wondering if you had the game guide and if so would you be able to check if he's mentioned in it at all?. Thanks! Manoof (talk) 07:15, March 9, 2015 (UTC)

Stavan edit

I just went through and played the audio, then compared to youtube audio of desann and galak. Galak's voice is too refined to be the speaker, and desann's voice has the right tone and growl to it... Manoof (talk) 06:12, February 5, 2015 (UTC)

  • You assume those are all parts of the same transmission. However each time the dish moves to a different receiving position, indicating four separate transmissions. You also have the transmissions out of order, they go:

Besides that, the voice SOUNDS like Desann's, not Fyyar's, I checked and double checked before making the change. Feel free to compare yourself, but I have described the differences. Manoof (talk) 12:23, February 6, 2015 (UTC)

  • Agree to disagree, but the above reasons (excluding the voice comparison) are not assumptions, they are facts. Each interaction with the control panel cuts to separate cutscenes in the above order, each one starts with the dish rotating 90 degrees. You mention game mechanics, but the whole cutscene reveals nothing of substance to the player except there is an admiral fyyar in the command structure and the presence of the probe droid outside. The other two messages reveal nothing in relation to the game story. Desann was also part of the command structure - all the evidence to be seen shows they are of comparable rank and we don't know who managed what in the lower levels of command.

  • Glad we could sort that out :) The other options are to contact the voice actors or the writer, but I don't think they'll remember a minor line in a game that's over 10 years old... *shrugs* oh well, thems the breaks! Have a great weekend! Manoof (talk) 13:47, February 27, 2015 (UTC)
