Hi.
I noticed the expansion you did with the Gentis coup section of the Palpatine article (good job, BTW), so I wanted to ask a favor. Could you clean up the Gentis coup section for the Darth Vader article? Weedle McHairybug (talk) 01:15, July 24, 2012 (UTC)
Hello, fellow Wookieepedian. How are you faring those days? I sought to enjoy my summer holiday in France, and I had a wee bit of time to work on my "Royal Award Ceremony" article. I still have to add information to this article, but I believe it's good enough to exist outside of my infobox. I know it's rather long, but if you have time, I'd really appreciate if you gave a copy-edit. After all, I do consider you're my "official" translator. ;-) Regards. --LelalMekha (talk) 10:06, September 2, 2012 (UTC)
- Excellence is the least we are willing to accept, aren't we? ;-) --LelalMekha (talk) 10:49, September 2, 2012 (UTC)
- Hello R5. I really appareciate your edits on the article I wrote, and I would like just one thing to be clarified so it can be remedied: you tagged "The ceremony officially began when Skywalker, Solo and Chewbacca entered the Grand Audience Chamber to the sound of the trumpets" with a fact tag. What is it exactly that needs to be verified. Thanks in advance. --LelalMekha (talk) 20:44, September 4, 2012 (UTC)
Hey there, could you upload future movie screenshots you're taking in .PNG? Assuming that's the original format they are being saved as. Thanks in advance. Alexrd (talk) 21:23, December 9, 2012 (UTC)
- It is standard, but we are starting to replace them (movie screenshots) with PNGs in order to have better quality and avoid artifacts when used as thumbnails. I don't know which method you use to take screenshots, but if it's through media players like VLC, change the capture format in the options. Thanks again. Alexrd (talk) 21:54, December 9, 2012 (UTC)
A few things to note when tagging images for deletion:
Thanks. 04:37, December 11, 2012 (UTC)
- Also, please try to remember to use the {{Ifd}} template rather than the {{Delete}} template. The CSD template is used for page deletion, while the IFD is used for image deletion. When used correctly, they help categorize the pages in the right way. Thank you for your cooperation.—Cal Jedi 14:46, December 13, 2012 (UTC)
Hi.
When are you going to resume edits on the article? I'd complete it myself, but the last time I tried that, it sort of got largely deleted because the mods thought I plagiarized. Weedle McHairybug (talk) 22:01, December 17, 2012 (UTC)
Hi.
While searching TVTropes, I found this quote under the Star Wars entry for the Film popup for Ultimate Life Form (and I'm guessing it's Palpatine/Sidious who's saying this):
"Of all the monsters I have created, I still regard Darth Vader as something of a minor masterpiece. No, he was not an entirely alchemical creation, but he was my monster nevertheless. Even though he failed to live up to his full potential, there was much pleasure in transforming Anakin Skywalker from a bright-eyed, tousle-headed youth into the greatest Jedi killer of all time. Yes, he ultimately turned against his Master, as monsters sometimes do, but that was my fault, not his. Given the opportunity to create Vader again, I would, and with zeal."
Can you verify if it's from Book of Sith? I thought it might have been from it, but I wasn't too sure. If it isn't from Book of Sith, can you post the true source of the quote? Weedle McHairybug (talk) 22:16, January 23, 2013 (UTC)
Hello R5. I was re-reading the article about House Palpatine and I stumbled upon the following sentence: "According to Cosinga, House Palpatine was one of the six impenetrable gates that held back chaos in Naboo mythology." While Cosinga did say something like that, I don't believe it should be taken at face value. It seems to me that Cosinga was only bragging, trying to present his family as the ultimate rampart against Muunilinst's attempt to destabilize the sovereignty of Naboo. In other words, it must be a mere cultural metaphor. The whole context of the conversation heavily implies it. Furthermore, you can read te following later in the book: "The family name was thought to be an ancient name of state among hereditary noble families, or perhaps a name borrowed from an ancient region of Naboo." That explanation sounds much more plausible to me. What say you? --LelalMekha (talk) 00:41, February 19, 2013 (UTC)
Hi.
Since you were taking too long with finishing the Reconquest of the Rim article, I did it. You might want to tidy it up though. I just wanted to make sure that it was done.
Also, I did a section on Darth Vader and the Ninth Assassin on the Palpatine and Anakin Skywalker articles, so if you have any detailed knowledge on the first, second, and possibly third issues, feel free to do any necessary expansions. Weedle McHairybug (talk) 14:47, June 5, 2013 (UTC)

First off, I honestly hope you're joking about calling Palpatine an "excellent article".... it's probably one of the worst-written on the entire site, it's so full of OR, speculation, and fanboy exaggeration. Secondly, everything I removed was original research or speculation; that was pruning. Cade Calrayn 13:57, May 24, 2014 (UTC)
- We clearly have a very different vision of what this place should be. Regardless of that, however, there is a lot of information that is sourced and shouldn't be deleted. The short paragraph you put there is more than woefully inadequate to replace all the info you took out. --R5-X41238-G8-R3-3124-D2 () 14:02, May 24, 2014 (UTC)
