Ship names

Hi there TIEPilot051999. As per our Manual of Style, please do not use the definite article "the" before the name of a ship. While conversationally, some individuals may say "Darth Vader was on the Executor", the correct way to describe that in writing would be "Darth Vader was aboard Executor." If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. --SparqMan 18:36, 27 Oct 2005 (UTC)

Oh. OK. Sorry. It just sounded strange when I looked at it before. I did change it on the "Did You Know" template, though, just because it looked better. (As it hasn't changed there, I don't think that's a problem?) TIEPilot051999 18:46, 27 Oct 2005 (UTC)

  • It actually has changed there. I reverted your edit. --SparqMan 19:01, 27 Oct 2005 (UTC)
  • Yeah. I just noticed that myself. Once again, sorry.TIEPilot051999 19:02, 27 Oct 2005 (UTC)

Recent Edit To "References to Star Wars"

Just so everyone knows, the latest addition to the "References to Star Wars" page was done by me. The computer I'm currently on is not the same one I use at home, and seems to have trouble keeping me logged in.TIEPilot051999 20:36, 9 Jan 2006 (UTC)

Empire at War

It's nice that you're doing articles on it, but could you please merge your info with already existng articles instead of creating doubles? Thanks. :) VT-16 09:57, 15 February 2006 (UTC)

  • EDIT: I've redirected the old ones to yours, since they are more extensive. VT-16 12:42, 15 February 2006 (UTC)

Grevious dispute

Yes, it's just the dispute over the title that's at issue. —Silly Dan 11:52, 10 March 2006 (UTC)

Pre-Republic

Wow, thanks for the FA nomination for Pre-Republic. That was fast! - Lord Hydronium 08:06, 14 March 2006 (UTC)

  • What can I say? It's definitly better than it had been, if its previous history is any indication. And like I said, it reminded me of the Rokur Gepta article. I mean, there was a time when it was a sorry piece of garbage. And now it's going to be next week's FA. Just goes to show what a little hard work can do.TIEPilot051999 08:09, 14 March 2006 (UTC)

April Fool's Joke

Yes, Earth is a joke. Shhh. —Silly Dan 05:45, 1 April 2006 (UTC)

  • Yeah. I kinda figured. Not exactly a fan of sites like this doing something like that, which is why I kinda don't like it. At least you don't have any plans to go any further with this...right? TIEPilot051999 05:47, 1 April 2006 (UTC)

The "Inuse" tag

While your contributions are appreciated, many Wookieepesians might consider it "bad form" to put the {{inuse}} tag on all the new What's The Story? entries. Just use the tag for one entry, and let someone else have a chance at writing some of the other entries. Once you have finished with one, then feel free to do the same with another if it has not been written. Thanks. --Azizlight 03:44, 18 April 2006 (UTC)

  • In Imp's absence, I'm filling in on the project. I think a new main focus is in order- please check out the thread I started on the project page and contribute anyway you can on any part of the project. Thanks. Atarumaster88 23:04, 27 January 2007 (UTC)

Reason

The quote was removed because it was already QOTD back in November. Enochf 04:12, 8 April 2007 (UTC)

  • It was? Oh. *hangs head in shame* TIEPilot051999 13:50, 8 April 2007 (UTC)

Jedi Mind Trick

On a completely unrelated note, I'm wondering if I might persuade you to vote on a particular QotD. This Penny Arcade quote/dialogue is perfect for a QotD and I really would like to see it make it to queue. Even if you don't vote, thanks for considering it. *waves fingers* You will vote for this quote. - JMAS 14:31, 12 April 2007 (UTC)

Intensify the forward firepower

  • I'm not sure what your "status" is as far as activity is concerned, but Crix Madine is going nowhere on the WookieeProject. I personally say we should do a character that more people are knowledgeable about, as well as a former FA, so I was thinking Mara Jade Skywalker. I am, however, open to ideas at Forum:New Main Focus. Atarumaster88 14:27, 22 June 2007 (UTC)
  • Yeah, sorry for that. I know I haven't been active recently, but Darth Real Life got me by the throat recently, and the site was blinking out for me when I was at home. Mara does seem to be the most likely candidate for our next attempt, given what happens in Sacrifice.TIEPilot051999 15:04, 22 June 2007 (UTC)

Calrissian

NEGTC

Hello. I'm the new director of WookieeProject: The New Essential Guide to Characters, and I'm trying to improve our output. Our new main focus is Lando Calrissian. He's been a focus of ours in the past, but we've never quite finished work on his article. Let's work together, add information from the remaining sources and get it on the FAN page ASAP. See Forum:Lando Calrissian for a list of sources that still need more information added from them. MTFBWY, and let's get Lando finished and ready for FA! Chack Jadson 22:10, 24 July 2008 (UTC)

Atlas

You're welcome to continue updating the site with information from the Atlas, but I reverted your edits to Jerjerrod just to give the original nominator of the article a fresh chance to update it himself, since it is currently a Featured article. Toprawa and Ralltiir 01:04, 16 August 2009 (UTC)

Atlas

You're welcome to continue updating the site with information from the Atlas, but I reverted your edits to Jerjerrod just go give the original nominator of the article a fresh chance to update it himself, since it is currently a Featured article. Toprawa and Ralltiir 01:04, 16 August 2009 (UTC)

  • Ah. I see. I thought it was because the item wasn't officially released yet. As I stated on your talk page, since the edit you did said "The nominator will update the article properly once the item is released", that information from the Atlas wasn't allowed to be added until Tuesday, when the Atlas was properly released. (As I said, a local bookstore got it yesterday, and I got it from there, knowing that they usually get new books before Chapters and such. And as I said before, I had already restored the original versions of Rishi Maze and back to their proper form. Looks like I can undo those restorations and put them back the way they can be now. Again, thanks for your understanding. TIEPilot051999 01:10, 16 August 2009 (UTC)
  • Out of curiosity, besides his first name, is there any new info on Jerjerrod? And could you let me know on which pages he is mentioned? Grand Moff Tranner 02:52, 16 August 2009 (UTC)

A New Hope: The Life of Luke Skywalker

Hi. It seems from your edits late last year that you have this book. Is that the case? If so, I was wondering what it says about . Are Janrek and his arrest only briefly mentioned? Or is there quite a bit on him? --Eyrezer 05:36, March 11, 2010 (UTC)

  • I haven't looked at the book recently, but I think he's simply mentioned at the start, and his arrest at the hands of Luke is at the end. TIEPilot051999 16:00, March 11, 2010 (UTC)

Jedi Apprentice: The Deadly Hunter Info

Hey, I'm working on the CSF FA nomination. I'm wondering if you could help me with info in Jedi Apprentice: The Deadly Hunter regarding the "Ren S'orn case" including why it was opened and why his mother Uta S'orn asked it to be closed. Also any and all information that you can find in that book/series on Yur T'aug including personality, bio, etc. His article didn't really help much. Supposedly he was the overall commander of the CSF but if you could confirm/deny that. If you could let me know as soon as you can, I'd appreciate it a lot!!Coruscantfan 20:50, September 6, 2010 (UTC)

  • Nevermind, I was able to get the info. Thanks. Coruscantfan 03:05, September 8, 2010 (UTC)

Liberation of Ackbar

Hi, my name's Hunter. I saw you owned the X-Wing: The Official Strategy Guide and was wondering if you could help me out with something. I am planning on working Liberation of Ackbar up to FA and it's apparently mentioned in that book. In the game, it's a battle in the Y-Wing historical mission #6, where you have to save Ackbar over Eriadu. Could you possibly help me out and let me know what's in the book about it? Let me know. Thanks! — Hunter Kahn 13:29, August 31, 2011 (UTC)

Once Upon a Galaxy: A Journal of the Making of The Empire Strikes Back question

Hello, I noticed that you own Once Upon a Galaxy: A Journal of the Making of The Empire Strikes Back. If you don't mind, could you check to see if there are any images of Yoxgit in the book's behind the scenes photos? Thank you for your time.--Exiled Jedi (Greetings) 22:10, May 20, 2013 (UTC)

  • I'll give it a look through tonight and get back to you. :) TIEPilot051999 () 00:52, June 10, 2013 (UTC)

WP:VG milestone

Good day, gamers! WookieeProject Video Games has reached a new milestone. The members of WP:VG have taken 100 articles to Comprehensive status! The 100th article was Inspector-General, from the Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II in-game databank. The full list of articles can be seen here. WP:VG and its members can be proud of the accomplishments we have made. As we near the two year mark of this ambitious project, we look back and see all the great progress and improvements we have made to Wookieepedia as a whole and the video game aspect of the wiki in particular. Most of these 100 articles would have probably been lost in the shuffle had it not been for the hard work, dedication, and patient perceptiveness of the users who comprise WP:VG. Out of all the current WookieeProjects, WookieeProject Video Games has the second highest amount of Comprehensive articles to its name. I would like to say good work and congratulations to all the members of WP:VG. Keep up the excellent job, and May the Force be with the Gamers!—Cal Jedi 20:41, May 28, 2013 (UTC)

Omnibus: A Long Time Ago... Volume 2 question

Hi TiePilot, I was just wondering if you could look something up in Omnibus: A Long Time Ago... Volume 2, particularly in Star Wars 48: The Third Law. I just wanted to know if it establishes the year as 3 ABY or not. Just let me know on my talk page if you find out, I've asked someone else as well but haven't got a reply yet. Thanks heaps I appreciate it! :) Manoof (talk) 23:06, February 23, 2015 (UTC)

  • It does, I'll have to try to find the 3 ABY date from somewhere else lol thanks though! Manoof (talk) 07:24, February 25, 2015 (UTC)
