Ushos O. Statura

Ushos O. Statura was a human male admiral and senior officer with the Resistance. Statura hailed from the planet Garel and had a scientific background. Statura's knowledge aided in the Resistance's efforts during their conflict with the First Order, in which he helped plan the assault on Starkiller Base, the First Order's superweapon, from their command center on D'Qar. Statura correctly predicted the attack on Starkiller Base would be successful if the Resistance crippled its thermal oscillator, which led to the destruction of the superweapon.

Galactic Civil War

Ushos O. Statura was born on Garel sometime prior to the Galactic Civil War. By the time he was a teenager, he had fought against the Galactic Empire to liberate his homeworld. Following the Battle of Endor, he pursued a career in applied sciences.

War against the First Order

Eventually, Statura was recruited by General Leia Organa as commander of ship procurement and logistics for her Resistance forces, becoming an admiral. He was never far from Organa's side, as she relied upon Statura for advice and perspective. He awarded the Rieekan Ribbon for Bravery in Battle to Poe Dameron for his role in the rescue of Admiral Ackbar. After the destruction of the Hosnian system, he helped plan the assault on Starkiller Base.

In the aftermath, as the First Order regrouped and prepared to obliterate the Resistance base on D'Qar, Statura was part of the briefing and expressed shock that the regime could arrive so quickly. Statura was killed along with most of High Command during the Battle of Oetchi when the Resistance flagship Raddus was attacked by the First Order.

Legacy

Sometime after the Battle of Crait, Temmin Wexley and Karé Kun went to meet the retired Wedge Antilles and Norra Wexley, whom they informed of Statura's death alongside other members of the Resistance leadership, including Admiral Gial Ackbar and Vice Admiral Amilyn Holdo.
