Vendi Kjleno was a member of the armed forces of the Rebel Alliance during the Galactic Civil War. Kjleno fought during the Battle of Yavin and was considered as a war hero. However, by 1 ABY, he was attacked by Imperial forces in the Endor system. His starship, the Jade Starunner, was shot down above the Forest Moon of Endor and Vendi Kjleno was killed. A short time later, an explorer by the name Tinrilo x'Rilsam found the crash site of the Jade Starunner on Endor. In the wreckage, the explorer discovered a damaged datadisk containing information about the last flight of the Jade Starunner and the fate of the war hero.
