Vik was a clone of the bounty hunter Jango Fett who, after serving in the Clone Wars, was imprisoned in the Galactic Empire's Tantiss Base. While imprisoned there, his many days of confinement led to him losing all hope of ever being rescued, as he saw his brothers taken away to be experimented on. When members of Clone Force 99 helped to free him and the other clone troopers imprisoned there, Vik helped to extract Hunter, Wrecker, and Crosshair; taking a blaster and fighting against the brainwashed Clone X operatives. He later escaped along with Clone Force 99 and the other prisoners and joined Echo along with Emerie Karr and three other clones heading to Pantora.
Vik was created on the planet Kamino as a clone of the bounty hunter Jango Fett. At some point following the end of the Clone Wars, he became imprisoned in the Galactic Empire's Tantiss Base on the planet Wayland, and, like his fellow clone prisoners, would begin to lose hope of anyone finding and rescuing him the longer he stayed there.
Around 18 BBY, the defective clones of Clone Force 99, also known as the Bad Batch, attempted to infiltrate the base to free the prisoners there, including Vik and their squad mate Omega. However, the members of the Batch known as Hunter, Wrecker, and Crosshair all got captured by the newly activated CX squad. Omega, alongside Echo, managed to breach the detention level where Vik and other clone prisoners were held. Vik expressed his relief at being freed at long last, with Echo stating that he and his fellow rogue clones had been searching for the base for a while. When he learned from a concerned Omega and Echo that their captured squad mates were not present, Vik suggested finding the training room, where Doctor Royce Hemlock experimented on the "most useful" clones. When former Vice Admiral Edmon Rampart, another prisoner, spoke up and suggested escaping the base instead, Echo retorted that as clones, they should not leave each other behind and that he and Omega needed help rescuing their squad. Vik and the other clone prisoners were aroused by Echo's speech and vowed to fight alongside their liberators.
The clones made their way through the halls to the training room, gunning down Imperial forces that got in their way. After Omega spotted the captured Bad Batch members and gave the signal from her position, Vik, Echo, and the other clones stormed the room. In response, the CX troopers emerged and fought them while Omega snuck around to free the Batch from the torture pods they were being kept in. The prisoners suffered several casualties in the fight, and when Hemlock arrived to unleash his own toxin on the group, Vik and the others briefly fell unconscious as a result, except for Echo, who was disguised as a TK stormtrooper and was wearing a helmet. However, as a result of Omega freeing Wrecker just before Hemlock's arrival, Wrecker in turn freed his other two squad mates and destroyed the console dispersing the toxin, resulting in Vik rejoining the fight. Wrecker killed two of the CX troopers while Echo and Hunter killed one each, with Vik saving Echo by killing the last of them.
After Crosshair and Hunter killed Hemlock, Vik and his fellow clones fled the severely damaged base on a stolen shuttle. After arriving on Pabu, where the Bad Batch resided, Vik would then join the Clone Underground network, traveling to Pantora in the Remora alongside Echo, Emerie Karr, and other freed clones.
A genetic clone of the bounty hunter Jango Fett, Vik had black hair, brown eyes, and tan skin. Additionally, he had a beard and a small portion of his right eyebrow missing. Vik stood at a height of 1.83 meters tall.
One of the many clone prisoners trapped at Mount Tantiss base, Vik's time spent imprisoned had caused him to lose all hope of anybody coming to rescue him or his brothers. Contrary to his belief, Clone Force 99 had infiltrated the base with the intention of freeing all the captives.
