Vilmarh's Revenge, also known as a precision laser dart, was a popular blaster pistol model manufactured by DevTech Sidearms. The weapon was easy to customize to one's liking, as the barrel adapter could fit various kinds of attachments. Vizago's pistol, for example, had a barrel shroud receiver with cooling vents. The Vilmarh's Revenge had a long distance sight adapter that can fold down and a pressure-sensitive trigger. Increased pressure on the trigger would result in an increased rate of fire.
During her investigation Jedi Master Tu-Anh was killed by a IG-100 MagnaGuard that used a precision laser dart that was aimed at her optic nerve, which caused a massive seizure from its electromagnetic pulse. While Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi were on planet Utapau on a mission during the Clone Wars, their Dactillion rides were shot down by an Amani working with Sugi arms dealers and the Confederacy of Independent Systems wielding a precision laser dart. The Devaronian Cikatro Vizago, criminal leader of the Broken Horn Syndicate, carried a Vilmarh's Revenge.
The Vilmarh's Revenge was first mentioned in "A Death on Utapau," an unfinished episode, a part of The Clone Wars Legacy of the animated television series Star Wars: The Clone Wars. The episode was directed by Steward Lee, written by Daniel Arkin, and first aired on September 25, 2014. It was first identified as Vilmarh's Revenge in Star Wars Rebels: The Visual Guide, a reference book written by Adam Bray and published in 2014. The Vilmarh's Revenge shares its name with the Star Wars Legends character Vilmarh Grahrk.
