Voon sun

Shortly before the dawn on a day decades before 4050 BBY, a group of Jedi Knights infiltrated the stronghold of the Nelori Marauders band of warriors and pirates on Voon in order to attack them. Unexpectedly to the Jedi, however, the Marauders had retreated into the lower levels of the stronghold, leaving the former to briefly stare at each other in puzzlement as light from the Voon sun pierced the structure's slitted windows and illuminated its empty topmost levels.

The Voon sun was introduced in the Tales of the Jedi Companion, a 1996 sourcebook authored by George R. Strayton and published for use with West End Games' Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game. The 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas placed the Voon system, and therefore the star itself, in grid square K-9.
