Waste heat sink

Waste heat sinks, also known as heat sinks or radiators, were devices that drew away "waste heat" generated by a starship's or another vehicle's systems, and dissipated it into the surrounding environment. By doing so, they kept the system's components within their normal operating temperature, thus preventing breakdowns and malfunctions. When Tam Ryvora was fixing a racing starfighter, her Aurebesh list of parts included "4 heat sinks". An Aurebesh list of inventory in the Office of Acquisitions on Colossus included "8 heat sinks."
