White Suns

The White Suns was a liberation movement that freed slaves that was active on the planet Tatooine in 28 BBY. After spending six weeks living in Mos Espa as part of a cover to help free slaves, the former handmaiden Sabé had realized too late that the movement existed, and by that point they didn't trust her as she had been trying to get in with local criminals. During her investigation Sabé saw a symbol of a white sun painted on Shmi Skywalker's former residence, which she believed might be linked to the movement.
