The Wilds were an area of overgrown jungle and swamps on a planet in the galaxy. The Wilds was the habitat of the corvaj. During the Galactic Civil War, cadet pilots Ranna Gorjaye and Calson crash-landed in the Wilds following a training accident. Gorjaye survived, but Calson was killed by a corvaj.
The Wilds was first mentioned in the short text story Survival Class which appeared in The DarkStryder Campaign published by West End Games in 1995.
The planet on which the Wilds are located is never identified in the text, but Ranna Gorjaye's biography states that she received flight training on both the planets Salliche and Raithal, indicating that the Wilds could be on either planet although there is no evidence in the story to suggest that this is case. The planet Kiffex is known to have an area called "The Wilds," however no source to date has established a link between the two locations.
