I wish to join this project. I'm working on Wookieepedia since some months, inserting new images and new articles, and editing pre-existent articles, specially Princess Kneesaa's one. I want to know how to join the project. — Delmar Nori 02:25, 26 May 2008 (UTC)
- Just sign your name and get cracking on articles that haven't reached milestones yet! Eventually, we'll get organized and have main focuses and stuff, but at the moment we're just doing some cataloging of what articles we will be covering. Thefourdotelipsis 02:37, 26 May 2008 (UTC)
Hey, everyone. I'm working on a major expansion of the Dulok article in my sandbox, and I'm running into a problem. I think we should have an article on the tribe of Duloks ruled by King Gorneesh, as they are a major part of the Ewoks cartoon and comic book. However, we don't know the name of the tribe nor their home village, so I'm not sure what to title such an article. (Yes, I know we have the Dulok Swamp article, but as far as I can tell, this is not the village's official name.) So, I've been using Gorneesh's tribe as the name, which has its advantages (even if it is "conjectural"). But the main problem I have with it is that it's too tied to the timeframe shown in the Ewoks series; Gorneesh hasn't been the ruler of that tribe since time immemorial. What do others think? Any proposed titles? Thanks, ~ SavageBob 22:01, 26 February 2009 (UTC)
I thought I'd point this out: There are tons of Ewoks animation cels available on eBay right now. I'm not sure where they all came from, but there are lots to browse through. I mention this because some of the scans of the available cels are really well done and detailed, and so with a little cleanup, they could be used to illustrate articles here. There are also quite a few "Behind the scenes"-worthy images too, such as layout sheets, cels taken apart, production drawings, etc.
These images may prove especially helpful for characters, creatures, and other elements from the second season of Ewoks, since there are no really high-quality copies of that season available at this time. I wish I had the time to go through and copy all of these great images to my harddrive, but I just don't have the free time at the moment. Take a look if you get a chance, and nab anything that might be worth putting into an article here! (And let me know if you need help cleaning up the image!) ~ SavageBob 06:51, 9 July 2009 (UTC)
