Wrist-casters were self-defense weapons that were used in the period of time some four thousand years prior to the Battle of Yavin. The wrist-caster was a miniature crossbow mounted on an arm band that was secured around an individual's wrist. During the years surrounding the Great Sith War, Drolan Plasteel manufactured the QuickShot wrist-caster.
