In 22 BBY, after a mudslide in one of the eastern reaches of Naboo's secondary continent had taken out most of a village, Yané opened the house to the eight child survivors. Eventually, four of them were taken in by other family members. Four days later, the remaining four survivors, all of whom were cousins, slept in Yané and Saché's bed while Yané received a call from Amidala asking for advice on how to use her wedding fabric. Later that same year, Saché sent her children to the garden while she spoke confidentially with Amidala about Amidala's recent mission to Hebekrr Minor and confrontation with Oje N'deeb. The call ended when one of Saché's children fell into the pond, creating a commotion.
