Zalorians had originally been mentioned in the Star Wars Legends continuity in Prima Games' official strategy guide for the 2001 LucasArts video game Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds, before appearing in the game itself. In Legends, the Zalorians were the Human inhabitants of the planet Zaloriis, who also fought against the Empire and Maximilian Veers.
