Admiral of the Coreworlds

The title of Admiral of the Coreworlds was a rank given to admirals who commanded the planetary navies of their specific Core Worlds. Given that these admirals served their own individual governments, their power was limited solely to vessels operating inside their immediate regions. To avoid this appointment and remain eligible for the Republic Navy position of Admiral of the Fleet, it was relatively normal for certain Republic admirals to announce they possessed no homeworld.
