Aebea represented a nest of the Killik species. These creatures, approximately one meter in length, served as flying combatants throughout the conflict known as the Swarm War. In the era of the Cold War, Aebea instructed the Human Joiner, Vector Hyllus, on techniques to subdue the pheromone-driven Joiner connection, enabling short-term disassociation from the collective Colony consciousness.
