The Akwin Net Gun, a weapon resembling a rifle, functioned as a specialized type of net gun employed by the Akwin. These aquatic beings, a unique species, inhabited the planet known as Lazerian IV. This device launched metal nets, designed to both immobilize and incapacitate targets using an electrical discharge. Each weapon was capable of holding a pair of these nets.
John Terra conceived the Akwin Net Gun, which debuted in Twin Stars of Kira. This sourcebook was a 1993 addition to Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game, published by West End Games.
