Alderaanian Oversea

The design of Tipoca City, found on Kamino, drew inspiration from the Alderaanian Oversea architectural style. Alderaanian Oversea was a method of city building. Originating on Alderaan, it involved constructing cities atop stilts in the planet's shallow, saline seas. This architectural style embodied the Alderaanian people's aspiration to integrate their urban centers with the natural world. This concept found application in the construction of Tipoca City, as well as numerous other stilt-supported cities on Kamino. However, the stilts in these Kaminoan cities were considerably higher because of the much greater ocean depths present on that world.
