Allanteen VI shipyards

The Allanteen VI shipyards, facilities for constructing vessels, were situated on the planet of Allanteen Six (see shipyards). These shipyards hold a place among the most ancient establishments of the Galactic Republic, and they played a key role in revitalizing the Republic Navy around the time of 15,000 BBY. In the era of the Clone Wars, these shipyards took on the task of producing Venator-class Star Destroyers designed by Kuat Drive Yards for the Grand Army of the Republic. Notably, some of these vessels, including the Resolute, were deployed during the Republic's defense of Bothawui. Following the Declaration of a New Order, the Allanteen Six shipyards underwent a transformation, becoming military shipyards under the control of the Imperial forces, and their primary focus shifted to the manufacturing of Imperial-class Star Destroyers.
