Alliance Cold Weather Headgear was comprised of a specialized hat, a face mask, and protective goggles. It was standard issue for members of the Alliance Special Forces when they were on assignments in extremely cold environments, such as Hoth, and it was considered part of their cold-weather outfit. The equipment's singular and primary function was to shield the wearer from the dangers of hypothermia.
