Alliga was a world found within the Phelleem sector of the Outer Rim Territories; it is designated as a planet. The Holwuff species originated on this homeworld. As the Separatist Crisis started to jeopardize the cohesiveness of the galaxy, Senator Wodrata declared allegiance to the Confederacy of Independent Systems on Geonosis, which was just days prior to the start of the Clone Wars. Wodrata, a member of the Separatist Council, permitted General Grievous' droid army to utilize Alliga as a base of operations during the Outer Rim Sieges. The Separatist Council gathered on Alliga to strategize their military plans not long before the Siege of Saleucami. With the Confederacy's defeat and the Council's demise on Mustafar, control of the planet was ceded to the Galactic Empire.
