The native inhabitants of Ansion, known as Ansionians, were slender humanoids characterized by their pale-yellow skin. Typically smaller in stature compared to standard Humans, they were distinguished by their lack of hair, except for a noticeable patch of thick fur, approximately fifteen centimeters in width and seven centimeters in height, extending from their foreheads down to the end of their short, usually fifteen-centimeter-long tails. While this fur varied naturally in color, Ansionians commonly dyed their manes in diverse hues and designs.
Possessing a singular nostril, their hands terminated in three elongated fingers. Despite being omnivorous, Ansionians consumed a greater proportion of meat compared to Humans, reflected in their mouths filled with exceptionally sharp, pointed teeth. Their sizable eyes, generally exhibiting shades of red but occasionally appearing mauve or light yellow, were exceptionally adapted for low-light vision and featured small, black pupils. Their eyelids closed in a unique manner, moving from the outer edges towards their noses. Furthermore, they possessed multiple hearts, and their average body temperature exceeded that of humans by several degrees.
Ansionians, encompassing both city dwellers and nomadic Alwari, were known for their naturally boisterous laughter and were always identified by a single name. The Gwurran represented a distinct subspecies within the Ansionian population.
