A group of Chiss Defense Fleet starships belonging to the Chiss was under the command of Admiral Ar'alani of the Chiss Ascendancy. Around 27 BBY, this force engaged in a battle against a minor Yuuzhan Vong fleet reconnaissance force, resulting in a Chiss victory.
