Arden Telowe, a Human male, ran the Desert Survey Office situated in Mos Eisley when the New Order was at its peak. He made use of an old Ranger-5 swoop for transportation.
Telowe resided within the Desert Survey Office, taking breaks only to journey into the desert alongside his Gamorrean aide, Slaff, constantly seeking valuable scrap and salvage. A furtive Jawa would also routinely visit, providing intel. There were suspicions that illicit activities were afoot.
Despite his extensive exploration of the desert, Telowe never bothered to update the official map at his Desert Survey Office. He kept numerous locations secret, including smugglers' secret bases and potential mining sites, often selling this information to the local Hutt crimelords. During the Galactic Civil War, Telowe became the target of a determined search, seemingly led by his long-lost sister, Masda Telowe. However, it was revealed that Masda was actually his ex-wife, whom he abandoned on Esseles with significant debts. To get her revenge, Masda hired a group of bounty hunters to follow her after she employed some local guides to assist in locating Telowe. The scouts eventually located Telowe inside a cave within a canyon, where he was confronted by his former wife and the bounty hunters, who were seeking retribution.
Arden Telowe is featured in the article "Secrets of Mos Eisley", which was published in 2001 in Star Wars Gamer 7.
