Art Mawhinney

Art Mawhinney is the artist behind the illustrations in Look and Find: Journey to Star Wars: The Last Jedi and numerous other titles within the Look and Find series by Phoenix International Publications, Inc.. Throughout a career spanning over four decades, Art has contributed his talents to TV animation, comic books, and the illustration of children's books, working with well-known properties such as Sonic the Hedgehog, Rugrats, Star Wars, and a wide array of other Disney brands. His location in rural Wisconsin throughout his career has made him a frequent user of FedEx and a strong advocate for high-speed internet access.

From an early age, Art developed a keen interest in cartoons, animation, comic books, and science fiction. He pursued formal education in animation at the California Institute of the Arts, and also obtained an Art degree from the University of Wisconsin.
