Artel Darc
Artel Darc, a Dark Acolyte, served Count Dooku as an operative throughout the Clone Wars. He commanded the Separatist military presence located on Dagu, where he forced the Rybet population into servitude. Shaak Ti, a Jedi, led an assault on Dagu with her troops. Ultimately, the Galactic Republic achieved victory in the Battle of Dagu.
Behind the scenes
The novel Escape from Dagu, which would have depicted these events, was ultimately scrapped. Despite its cancellation, elements of the narrative found their way into established continuity through mentions in other sources, notably the Fact Files.
