In a vision experienced by Yoda, Astaroth manifested on a volcanic planet, drawing near to the blade known as Soul Edge. Subsequently, he battled Yoda on an enigmatic planet, brandishing a massive axe.
Personality and traits
Astaroth presented a horrifying spectacle; he was an immense, golem-esque entity clad in violet armor, with scarlet fissures emanating from a ruby gem embedded in his chest.

The encounter between Astaroth and Yoda served to herald Yoda's debut in the fighting game Soulcalibur IV.
