A Confederacy Cruiser launched an assault on Asteroid 426, which was located close to Sarapin. Asteroid 426 was among the many asteroids that circled Sarapin. It formed a component of the Republic's defensive network established to safeguard the planet. Sev'rance Tann was responsible for dismantling this defense grid.
