In the era of the Clone Wars, the Galactic Republic sent two Jedi General's, namely Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker, on a mission. Their objective was to retrieve the coordinates of stolen Separatist hypermatter generators. These crucial plans were stored inside a 3PO-series protocol droid identified as J-3PO. Although the two Jedi succeeded in locating the droid within the subterranean caverns, it met its demise at the hands of the Dark Acolyte Asajj Ventress.
