Background
The [Alliance High Command](link url) made the determination to strike the Onderon Imperial Army-Navy Ordnance Center, considered the most strategically significant within the sector.
On the morning of [Kagstag](link url), members of the [Onderon resistance movement](link url) carried out a sabotage operation against the Imperial [sensor network](link url), creating a window of twelve minutes for a Rebel strike team to enter the [star system](link url) undetected.
Combat
Twenty minutes following the sabotage, members of the Onderon underground launched an assault, taking down the [planetary defense shields](link url) that protected the area around [Iziz](link url).
Shortly after, [starfighters](link url) belonging to [Shandor Squadron](link url) engaged [Jyrenne Base](link url) close to Iziz, where the ordnance center was situated. A subsequent attack run involving the entire Rebel force resulted in the destruction of approximately 67% of the base's ordnance.
Result
The battle proved to be a significant victory for the Rebel Alliance, largely attributable to the valiant actions of the [Onderon Resistance](link url). The destruction of the ordnance center severely impaired the Empire's capacity to replenish its regional forces.
