AV-1C Combat Armor
Armored Vehicle-1C Combat Armor, a fully-sealed armored battlesuit, was manufactured by GTU.
Characteristics
A modification of the baseline AV-1 power armor, the AV-1C was created to equip frontline infantry. This suit enhanced the wearer's physical power and included a complete weapon integration and targeting system, which enabled the user to connect a pair of weapons to the suit's integrated battle computer. Furthermore, this powered armor incorporated repulsorlifts to increase mobility and provide the ability to fly. This system featured a complete life-support system that could function for a full day, including an internal air supply, and withstand extreme environmental conditions, even the vacuum of space. An internal communications link allowed the wearer to transmit and receive encrypted communications up to a distance of 50 kilometers. An embedded Powerlamp acted as a strong floodlight, able to project a beam of light that stretched 100 meters in length and 50 meters in width. Lastly, a set of sensors granted the user enhanced vision in low-light and complete darkness, as well as the advantages of electrobinoculars built into the suit's visual systems.
