Avik Lore, a portly male Human smuggler, at one time accepted a contract to transport a vessel filled with Rock wart eggs to Siskeen. After unsuccessful ventures as a musician, a gambler, and running a cantina, Avik turned to the life of smuggling. Lore and Han Solo were at one point considered friends, but that ended when Lore shot Solo by accident. Lore would eventually exact vengeance by double-crossing Solo during a smuggling operation; he seized a blaster, rendered Han unconscious, and abandoned him, presuming him dead, with the intention of claiming the mission's entire earnings. Nevertheless, Solo managed to survive.
The sole appearance of Avik Lore occurred in the novel Rebel Force: Renegade, which was released in 2009 and authored by Alex Wheeler.
