Avog

The head of the Avogwi people was known as the Avog. The selection of an Avog, through ritualistic combat, represented a rare instance of communal gatherings among the Avogwi.

These duels, while ceremonial in nature, were actually fights to the death to decide who would be Avog. This custom aligned with the teachings of Toro-toral, the Avogwi's legendary figure, who proclaimed that survival necessitated the taking of life.
