B22

The B22, a blaster pistol using mechanical activation, was manufactured by Merr-Sonn Munitions, Inc. and saw action in the Galactic Civil War. An instance of its use occurred during the Siege of Inyusu Tor in 3 ABY, when Imperial Captain Tabor Seitaron carried one as a sidearm. He attempted to quell a conflict between Prelate Verge and Everi Chalis, a former Imperial now allied with the rebel forces, on the Imperial II-class Star Destroyer Herald. Seitaron's shot, meant for Chalis, instead killed Verge.

Behind the scenes

Alexander Freed's 2015 novel, Battlefront: Twilight Company, marked the initial appearance of the B22. Within the Star Wars Legends timeline, the B22 Hold-Out Blaster debuted earlier, in West End Games' 1997 roleplaying game supplement titled Gundark's Fantastic Technology: Personal Gear.
