B4711 participated in the Blockade of Kashyyyk in 1 ABY as a member of the Imperial stormtrooper corps.
During the Blockade of Kashyyyk, B4711, accompanied by another trooper and some Imperial guards, conducted a raid on the residence of Chewbacca's relatives. Despite their search, they found no evidence of Rebel involvement, prompting the other Imperials to depart, leaving B4711 behind to maintain surveillance.
The stormtrooper shortly thereafter came across a contraption that Lumpawarrump had built to trick the others into going back to base, which he promptly dismantled. Subsequently, B4711 pursued Lumpy onto the house's platform, where he encountered Chewbacca and Han Solo, who had just gotten there for the Life Day festivities. Solo caused the trooper to stumble, resulting in B4711's fatal plunge into the forest floor.
Subsequently, as the Empire initiated a search for the trooper, Saun Dann suggested to an Imperial that B4711 had broken into his dwelling, pilfered a significant quantity of his provisions, and then ran away. Consequently, the Empire dispatched a search party.
