Ling Bai, also known as Bai Ling (born October 10, 1966), acted in scenes for Revenge of the Sith as Senator Bana Breemu; however, these scenes did not make the final cut of the movie. Bai asserted that her appearance in the June 2005 edition of Playboy led to this removal, but George Lucas maintained that the scenes were removed almost a year before her photoshoot. Subsequently, her scenes were included in the "Deleted Scenes" section of the Revenge of the Sith DVD. Lucas restated his assertion on the DVD, explaining that the scenes were cut to shorten the film's duration.
