This planet, Guiteica, possessed vast quantities of this mineral beneath its surface. These crystals were extracted from mines on the Upper Bal'ta'ran Cluster through the use of slave labor. Numerous mining corporations, generally supportive of the Imperial regime, had attempted to persuade the indigenous Bitthævrians to engage in mining operations on the world.
