Bal'ta'ran crystal

Bal'ta'ran crystals existed as mineral structures located on the world of Guiteica.

This planet, Guiteica, was abundant with underground deposits of this particular mineral. These crystals were extracted from mines on the Upper Bal'ta'ran Cluster through the use of slave labor. Numerous mining corporations, generally supportive of the Imperial regime, had attempted to persuade the indigenous Bitthævrians to engage in mining operations on the planetary surface.
