Bandingos, alternatively known as Bandigos, constituted a species of savage omnivorous animals frequently encountered in Temptation Canyon located on Sriluur. Their appearance was similar to sizable, canine-like beasts, possessing four legs equipped with claws and featuring a hide of wrinkled skin. They gained widespread notoriety because of their drawn-out, eerie vocalizations—sounds that numerous Weequay erroneously attributed to Water Nymphs dwelling inside the canyon.
These Bandigos made their homes in the sandy terrain, and they would frequently use ambush tactics on their targeted animals. They would conceal themselves beneath a superficial layer of sand, waiting for the intended victim to approach within striking distance.
