Barloz-class medium freighter

The Barloz-class medium freighter, often shortened to just Barloz freighter, represented a type of freighter that was produced by the Corellian Engineering Corporation. The YT-1000 light freighter's development process positioned it as a successor to the Barloz freighter. Despite the Barloz freighter's popularity among independent traders and planetary defense forces, the Corellian Engineering Corporation's leadership and design teams began to view the large, wedge-shaped Barloz freighter as outdated.
