Baroo was a place known for its man-made beach vacation spots. Sometime around 382 BBY, a hologram displayed on a tall building on the planet of Coruscant promoted holiday deals to the beaches of Baroo.
The first mention of Baroo in the current Star Wars canon occurred in the 2022 book Convergence, which was penned by Zoraida Córdova and is a component of Phase II of the Star Wars: The High Republic cross-media initiative.
